Galapagos bullhead shark

Inhabits sand flat and rocky, boulder strewn reef areas, with sand between outcroppings in inshore continental and insular waters. Rests motionless on the bottom. Is docile, non-aggressive and a poor swimmer. Nocturnal. Feeds on shellfish, crabs, and small invertebrates.
